Tram Trip

After school on Friday, Ted went on a tram trip.
Here you can see him waiting for the tram and then stopping at Ribeira.

Ready to go to the park!
Ted liked watching the sun set after a fun day out.

International Music Day

Today we made some colourful ocean drums.
We explored the different sounds we could make with them.
Do you think you could make one too?

This was a great opportunity to develop listening skills.
Every time the sound changed, the Globe changed direction.
The children had to listen carefully to the sound changes,
especially when instruments were being played slowly and
without pauses.

Ted at the Grape Harvest and Medieval Fair

Ted went to the Vindimas.
He rode a tractor to the vineyard, picked grapes,
but did not quite make it to treading them.

Ted went to the Medieval Fair and got crowned King Ted.

Armstrong and lice

We heard a song by Louis Armstrong and Dhruv was very impressed, he said, "wow ele é forte!" (he is strong).

Today I reminded **** to tie her hair as there are cases of head lice in school (as well as it being a school rule). Luca asked, "Os totós têm um cheiro especial para afastar os piolhos?" (Do the rubber bands have a special smell to detract lice?"
